nope! lan doesnt work. you either "sign in", or "go offline" and if you click sign in by accident, its a pain in the ass, cause there is no back button to allow you to go offline. you have to restart the system. ive done that too many times.... haha
I have installed windows 8.1 the other week. Start button MS added isnt good enough really. However it is curable with "Classic Shell" app as Alphavader stated above. Latest Cryengine 64 works fine here. So far no issues at all.
Open the script window. In a Mel tab type the 2 lines below. source "location of Mel file/ninja_uv.mel"; ninja_uv(); Make sure the path is correct. Example: source "c:/tools/ninja_uv.mel"; You can then hilite the 2 lines and drag it to a shelf to create a button
Try this workflow: 1) spotlight paint the template as a polypaint 2) go to "masking" and open the Mask by Color subpalette 3) try the buttons until you get a mask that fits closest to your template I've never used the Stencil feature, that may be even easier.
Well, on the Battle.net, after you logon to the account, click where it says "Manage My Games: Go to Account Management." There, you will find a "Add a Game" button high-lighted in green. Click that and it will ask you to Activate a Game key, where you will enter the code.
Okay, so, one of the tutorials I accessed via the wiki links mentions tree trunks via extruding along a spline. This is a good idea, it seems to me, but I'm having a rather embarrassing problem, namely that I can't find the button to do that. (3Dsmax 2012.)
GoZ should retain your actual dimensions of what you see in Maya, for a raw OBJ I'm not so sure. But for the brush size issue, just disable the "dynamic" button on the Brush Size slider (hold shift to toggle) to switch to a screen-space brush size.
You're in Newcastle, surely you already spend enough time feeling like a scumbag. Just got the game myself, no voices in the first cutscene then buttons wouldn't work (like opening the parachute....). Restarted steam and it's updating the game, so let's hope that fixes the problems.
Bring up your resolution and hit the Project button under the Dynamesh menu. It should make it so you don't lose the detail. I'm new still relatively new to Zbrush, but just my 2 cents. At about 4 min in part 2 of this tutorial
I think the size is nice, but the screen is kind of shitty, and the button layout is way out of date compared to the newer models. Frankly, I would wait until they come out with a new version, which can't be too long since the current model is years old.
