@larryrttrivette You are right Larry, I guess I was excited too much ;_; Substance Painter is very powerful yet interface is very.. complicated :-) comparing from Photoshop. I guess I should watch tutorial about gun texturing.
the engine is terribly complicated and mechancial but the rest of the bike looks like placeholder models. It's like it's bottom heavy detailed. and how does it stand when not in use? I see no kickstands or does it have magical magnetic powers to hover when not in use?
Just guessing, but it might be a LOD problem. More costly operations will be turned off in the distance to save processing power, so I would guess that a shader or texture for hi-quality rendering (only used for closest pixels) is defect (wrong parameters).
I admire the power of wood in your creep den designs. The sunken trunk (2. picture) has a great storytelling look and the rock on the 1. and 3. picture looks like a great battlefield with the monster that would stand there. Great ideas overall.
Thanks Vig, now I see it. That could be a pretty powerful tool, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I'm actually surprised that I never saw that before...maybe all this head modeling is starting to affect my mind :)
Looks great! I can't wait to see more. Your shape language is strong, materials are great, lighting is solid. Nice all around. Bloom is over-powered though, I feel like I need to wipe my eyes.
WOW! Agree with all above! What strikes me is in the way a lot of the characters is posed, subtle yet grounded and powerful. The first guy, what he does with his left hand is awesome, a tiny detail that really sold the character for me.
Back to Briareos and the final Pass - Heres the Low Poly BaseMesh of the 'Beowulf Mk II - Battle Rifle' A squat and hardy low maintenance Rail Weapon, powered from interchangeable Cells and/or External Generators. Now to ZBrush with it. C and C Welcome
Thanks everyone! : ) woot: yup, rendered in modo. Zepic/Kaine123: Im not using meshfusion though, I'm using their smooth-edge shader, which is even more powerful than mesh fusion imho. This + meshfusion is a good combo though :D
Fill the uv space and you wont get the seams. Remember to keep to a power of 2 workflow as it will cancel out seam issues. http://www.thiagoklafke.com/modularenvironments.html http://blog.joelburgess.com/2013/04/skyrims-modular-level-design-gdc-2013.html
