Ah, yes. That makes sense now that I've had some sleep. Thanks guys! Has anyone tried getting cages to name-match? Yea, I know. Asking too much
This is looking really nice! I might give him a slightly more neutral or aggressive expression given his outfit. I mean, unless u want him to look happy I guess. Kinda doesn't fit the character design.
That's the most interesting choice of t-pose I've seen o_O I have a feeling you might have issues with the shoulders distorting in a more relaxed/neutral pose. I loved that cactus scene, got me wishing for a roadrunner :D
Yeah cool! I think an interactive app like this would be cool to have at gtd or something. I must say though, the green background is awful. It'd be nice to have a simple, neutral gradient so it doesn't conflict with textured models.
Did Fight Club teach you nothing... "You can run water over your hand and make it worse or you can use vinegar to neutralize the burn" Moose, I think it was 8 cups of some kind of cooking oil?
White backgrounds aren't standard for art portfolio sites because they draw too much attention away from the content and become hard to focus on. A more neutral tone will make it easier to think about your art more and site less.
Thank you I gave it a more neutral pose and combined its normal map with a wip texture. It still needs work, definitely need to tone down the shinning. Im working on redoing the rig atm to make it more animation friendly.
1 thing I do to help me percieve the correct values is to not paint against white. I usually start against a neutral grey background. And block in your masses first. Imagine your doing something cell shaded...then smudge.
This was missing, so I had a stab at it. People are always posting images of their models online and asking for feedback. Unfortunately at times the model is presented so poorly that it makes giving feedback nigh impossible. The main problems are tiny images with no contrast on the model but a huge contrast between the…
I agree. It looks terrible in comparison to the environment. :-\ I'm not satisifed with it at all. I did try to make a more action pose, but some of the deformations were still iffy and I didn't really have time to refine things, so scrapped it for a more neutral pose. But as you say - stiff. This is why I despise rushing…
