GTA3 is older than dirt, I wouldn't put a whole lot of weight into doing hand modeled roads. Procedural solutions like this video allow a lot of freedom and mutability through the whole design process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtjBKq1qPOQ
Yes that's kind of true.So you should think really carefully in the first stage. However fusion360 has the timeline feature which gives you some freedom to make big changes after you finish those small bevels.
Thanks! Here's the tattoo design, I made the details bigger to make it less confusing at a distance and flipped it to the left arm. I'm going to bake it as a mask so I will have the freedom to tweak the skin colour as long as I want
Yes it's ok, just give credit to the concept artist. In a production environment you'll often have to work off others' concepts. Depending on the situation you may have more freedom, and therefore would need some design skills.
3d coat got a huge improvements in sculpting recently. I can now call it full blown sculpting app. I actually prefer how its brushes feel and the freedom it gives with those local subdivision/decimation brushes.
Looks awesome, I really want to try playing this, and that's somethign i don't usually say about flash games. Also, sounds like you really found a great job ;) Definitely sounds fun to have that sort of freedom!
Hm. If it comes out that Bush has cheated the people of your fine country for the second time in a row, I'd be inclined to take it to the streets. He's encroaching on your freedom, Yankees, and we know how much you value that concept...
Glad I could help out ;) Will keep an eye out for your progression, would love to see where you will take this guy. Yea a tablet is such freedom and ease when it comes to sculpting, I wouldn't know what to do without it :) Grts Yarrid
Looks like a good start! Maybe you can already make the house modular and have some freedom in the game engine with those modular pieces. And a tip that can be useful is try to focus on 1 nice view, with good composition etc
I always feel a song in my heart -- a song of life, love, hope and freedom -- when the Polycount Leet bands together to brutally smack down one of its own. It brings a joyful tear to an old man's eye, so it does.
