This is the scene lighting made by my friend Maria. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/26wAY Her work made me understand how to do better lighting. For this reason I took some time to rebuild the scene lighting. My lighting is more conservative way ... haha
This thread is awesome! im keeping an eye on it. I dont know how i never saw it before. Anyway, yeah like noors said, bad geometry or uvs. Ive had that problem before and i fixed by just rebuilding those faces and then fixing the uvs.
So did you rebuild the models that the guys at massive made from scratch aswell, since I know a couple of those models were made by the guys at massive (like the ACOG and AK)? Otherwise it might be good to specify which ones you didnt model : )
Great models. I'm curious about what export options you got in Fusion. I had to handle some .step files from Inventor and had to rebuild everything. I read that you commented on retopo in Fusion so Im guessing this might be why?
Turning on Transform: L.Sym (under transforms) should do the trick. Otherwise you could use Tool: Geometry: Delete by Symmetry to delete one half, position the gizmo and scale the remaining sphere accordingly, then rebuild the second half by pressing Tool: Geometry: Mirror and Weld.
Tried that, when i highlighted level 0 and hit export, it said "you must select a level to export" and of course when i selected it exported the highest. After a few tries i managed to "fix" the file by moving levels data to the HD and rebuilding the octree.
To Maya gurus out there. is it possible to convert cubic curves to linear curves while keeping the cvs intact. Without changing the positions of the cvs? (solved) Solution is to use rebuild curve with Uniform, linear, cvs check on. There are occasions that it didnt work perfectly, but it wokrs 90% of the time.
Created this for sculpting practice but mostly for the purpose of having a fairly generic female to build other characters from. I still need to rebuild the topology, and that version won't be as defined as this one, but will keep most of the basic shapes. I mostly was striving for an ideal female that wasn't too extreme…
Added more Ivy variations. Could not wait to share here with you. Some tasks remaining until rebuilding the level with finished kits. As I said this map is for testing a kit I will make the final map with good design and composition at the end. Stay tuned! Ending soon :)
tired of getting this error ive had to rebuild my psd from scratch 3 times now, thnakfully i saved my presets. it would be nice if ddo selected which handmade layers are messing with the ui so we can properly delete them thanks
