well there are different levels of pressure sensitivity, some pens can have different nibs for different feels. I really wouldn't recommend buying anything other than a Wacom, Ive heard horror stories of tablets crapping out, also almost all other pens require batteries unlike Wacom. there ate tablets from them starting at…
I think the style is awesome but I don't like the ankle bone protrusion so much. I think it would look a bit better if the protrusion was lessened on the outside by about 75% and on the inside by about 25%. It is a really nice job on stylized anatomy, a very cool take on the planes of the body. Anyway I say tweak the…
upper limit i've ever reached in zbrush was about 75+ mio polygons per subtool as i recall. my general impression of the 64 bit version isn't all that positive though. i had random crashes even just switching subtools or subdivision levels. perhaps try to rebuild your mesh in the 32 bit version? i went back to Z4R6 because…
Looks great Tim as usual I have decided from looking at your sketches I'm gonna go get a decent tablet. My scribbles on paper look fine but anything I have drawn with a mouse looks 75% shitter, so Im gonna invest some money in my own concept work. Your work is alway inspires me in one way or another Thanks man
If by "it still looks metal," you mean that it is still reflective and shiny, you'll want to adjust your Roughness and Specular values, not your Metalness. Try putting a constant of .75 into your Spec (the default is .5) and lower your Roughness to between .2 and .4, you'll probably get the effect you are looking for.…
Ok, cool. The light setup is pretty basic. It is as follows: -One Skylight in scene, default settings -Light tracer turned on, default settings -One Direct light in scene, moved for each render to better match each camera angle. 0.25 magnitude, everything else default settings. -Scene material is standard 3DS Max grey…
Dan! - Nice sculpts, are you going to use both of them, or are you trying to decide between them? Well I finished my sculpting this afternoon, but thanks to a slow computer and millions upon millions of polygons, I lost all that and I am back to about 75% done. Maybe I'll be up for working on it a little later but for now…
Looking real slick man, I can't wait to see this thing come together! It's really refreshing to see an environment using all the same workflow I use...there's so many people at school that just have no idea about the power of high to low. As for my project, it's coming along pretty well...75 bakes later I'm finally…
hmmm i've never been a big halo fanboy, i've enjoyed the previous games enough to play thru them once, but no more. but to me this doesnt look that bad.. sure its no gears of war but it looks as good or better than i would guestimate 75% of the shooters i've seen advertised, and in my opinion looks a lot better than halo…
