Quick study I did based on some concept I found, pretty happy with the front and 3/4 biew, hate the side view for some reason, happens to most of my sculpts but I don't know what's off.....
Quick sub-d model. i plan on starting to do a random little model like this per day, as well as a speed sculpt once my intuos comes in :) Took WAY longer than it should have. 40 min~
Ferg: big props to you dude! Some anatomy facial feature study. Went a bit mad with the details I guess. :) About 2h in total I think, maybe a bit less, sculpted from a zbrush plane primitive.
I set out to learn sculpting again and made a base mesh and put into sculptris (I don't think sculptris likes base meshes though?) and then this was just more fun: one day, sculptris, one day you will be mine >:[
Bobo, Sketch looks sweet for 20 mins man. Eyebrows looks off they don't feel like really flesh, maybe try the inflate tool and merge the two pieces of skin together more. but besides that sweet sculpt man
I see some amazing work here! Great job on the fire warrior bust Hollander! Here's a 30 minute speed sculpt of no one in particular, I felt the urge to comp it in the style of Daphz, in a memorial sort of way. I'm trying to get back on the saddle with sculpting, and standard modeling now that I have more time to do so. Of…
Some practice, I'm in process of transition from mudbox to zbrush, it isn't easy. The zbrush sculpting work flow is totally different, I'm trying to get nice defined shapes but a lot of it comes out as lumpy. In mudbox I would use the standard brush and then the pinch tool to define shapes. In zbrush the pinch tool seems…
Neox made me want to sculpt a thuggish looking character It looks like he's standing up to the boss after years of abuse "I might be a big dum-dum but dat don't mean I aint got no feelins!" *update*
Made a sculpt of an old man today. I've been spending a lot of time studying the skull lately and I found that looking at references of old people was a pretty good way of seeing where the bony landmarks are as well as some of the facial muscles.
Today's little sculptris tryout. aaand i've this little issue on a particular stage of sculpting. when i try to modify the upper model any further it starts to look like this: I dont know is the problem in my hardware or is it the software bug)
