humm it gives it a double extension "default.kbs.txt". I think that is just for users convenient personal reference. Because when you try and load it back in it's looking for a .kbs file. Maybe if you drop the .txt after editing? or can you edit a .kbs file with a standard text editor?
Yeh man, it stank of fake reasoning to me, and if you heard from others that this is the case, that's a good thing! Pity that you lost someone you look up to, but hey; no need to take it to the extent that you leave the industry. There's a fair few dicks in CG but lots of awesome people too. :)
I use mousewheel for macro scrolling and ctrl+alt+middleclick+drag for fine tuning. Max navigation has become second nature to me, it's practically just an extension of my brain now. I recall being the same with Maya but I've forgotten how to use it over the years.
Continuing on a male anatomy study I started a while back, and I should finish it. Basing the body type off Brock Lesnar, wondering if I should take the likeness to the full extent or come up with my own male body type/face etc. Food for thought...
Same. However, i do occationally create something at home on a weekend and bring it in. But thats about the extent of it. it never works the other way around. It depends on the studio though. For example, Pandemic was much more relaxed about it. I saw people with portable HHD behind their monitors at time.
Wow! Way too many scattered thoughts in this thread. OK. So do people have issue with the countries hard stance against free speech (teachers journalists)? Or is it about punishing prisoners by making them play WoW? Or is this about the extent the prisoners are being punished for not making their quotas?
Are you needing this for every sub object or just edges? Seems like I mainly use it on edges in modo but I barely use the program.... still would be nice to have it max. I have something kind of working so I was curious as to how extensive you need it to be.
Thanks a lot guys! it would appear that UDK does support it to an extent, as it's built into speed tree and all the in-engine foliage rendering. now, i need to figure out how to apply it to character assets. on a side note. why is it that engines can't seem to handle translucent alpha blending?
I use it all the time. Actually, I recently re-mapped it to only zoom selected extents in the active viewport. Still not sure if I like that better or not. I also have it set to do the same thing in Maya... I use it all the time. Really useful button, that.
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I need to just be less sensitive about this type of thing. [/ QUOTE ] No shit. [/ QUOTE ] I was going to quote that bit myself, but will just second Adam. I think Ben's a few hair extensions away from going Mr. Sensitive Ponytail Man on us
