I'm going to get all sweary, don't take it personally, I don't have time to clean it up and think of proper verbiage, plus it's how polycount used to be. My personal usage history: I've used Max more than any other program, but that means I'm more intimately acquainted with it's warts =P I currently use Maya for animation…
I'm reading the latest issue of Game Developer and there's an article about Deadly Creatures. http://gamedeveloper.texterity.com/gamedeveloper/200905/?sub_id=CaWERAuv3UCqI A whole chapter talks about something called "gray-boxing". Can anyone please explain what this means? Google tells me nothing. thanks!
I want to create an emoji for the WhatsApp application, the resolution of it is 48x48, what is the best way to approach such a task? should I start with a higher resolution and than scale my canvas? should I use somehow illustrator (no knowledge of the program what so ever)? thank you for the input :)
Awesome script, super helpful for a big task I'm working. And thanks for the edit to the selection constraints @TeriyakiStyle! Little more versatile now that I can get crazier with projection geo.
Thankyou very much and are you talking about the last few renders, if you click on the picture it becomes bigger, but I see what you're saying that's an easy fix. thanks again
Thanks dude.. If you're in the UK, I'm doing a talk at Animex about the process the end of this month. If not, hopefully I'll make it to GDC next year.. Have fun playing the game man!
Thanks. There's no PBR in my workflow yet. After talking with Earthquake and Quack! on another post, I decided to finish this out as I know how, then move on to Unreal 4 in the near future.
Thanks for the advice and the kind words, it really means alot! I'll definitely look into the pop on the robot that you're talking about and into creating gifs. I'll post the framerate from now on too.
