For sure. I've done texture painting in ZBrush, Mudbox, Substance Painter and even the new Photoshop 3D workspace and prefer 3D Coat by a mile. Very powerful for both hand painted and PBR textures, and easy to use. It's a joy. -

I'm looking into windowBlinds. Seems pretty powerful and not too hacky. It's 10 bucks.. Haven't seen any decent sober grey skin tho. Wonder why people making skins always have horrible cheesy taste. -

Ok. So should I have ignored their specifications for the art test and just have created whatever I thought was correct? Mobile devices these days are quite powerful. Maybe it isn't I that didn't do enough research. -

Textures always have to be in dimensions of powers of 2, so a 10x1 texture won't work. You could do a 8x2 texture, although that's tiny. Try a 128x16. Also, probably no need for a lerp, just treat the texture as a mask. -

7 actually seems the most powerful, readable-from-distance silhouette to me. Aside from the fact that he's pigeon-toed xD Try working with interior cut lines too! That might help inform the overall silhouette. -

i power mine with wordpress hosted through bluehost. i think i paid $70 for the year including the domain registration. Great tech support and with no knowledge of html i had things up and going in a couple days -

just an update: the low polied, uved version of this is sitting on my desktop at home, but we haven't had power for 2 days due to irene. the low is absurdly detailed and sits around 17k tris. it's just a shader demo. :) -
