Sure, if you hate dosh. (Skyshop is $125, Toolbag license is $59) If you're going to be using Skyshop anyway then that's not a problem, but otherwise you're going out of your way just to avoid a (seemingly unlikely) problem in the future.
I don't know, since I was born - the US was never nuked by Russia and Japan didn't become the new world super power so I tend to err on the side that we as humans are horrible at predicting the future.
I think I'm calling this done for now. I'm new to modeling and would love to hear anyone's crit so I know any pitfalls I've committed to avoid in the future. Valentine created by Alex Ahad
Yeah, for this one I'm taking a World of Warcraft style approach. I've not done any PBR yet, I'm still very new to 3D modelling, it looks great though, I'll be sure to give it a go in the future :)
Yeah, that seems to make the most sense right now, but I am still wondering if it is possible to do both the radial and axial symmetries at once, for future reference. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to chime in!
Thanks again Frostbite! Finished up the submission! Onward, to the future! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=693784460 Beauty image Concept image: Diffuse map (original content do not steal =P) Presentation shot
Just to follow up on my post; can anyone advise on whether it is or is not ok to contact by phone? I explained why I like to do it, but if there's a reason nobody has recommended it, then I'd like to know for future reference!
Thank you for all the help, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time out of your day to give me advice. I hope that this thread will be useful for future new prop/ environment artists out there.
Nice mood, good job ! I like how the tiny orange spots on the ground's reflection gives a great color contrast with the overall blueish lighting. This might be something you want to push a bit further in the future :)
Probably that company would have to use the Blender Game Engine for their game, there are not a lot of games created with BGE. I think they will even drop the engine in the near future, even though I like the idea of having it integrated.
