I don't see anything wrong with the final render... but I have gripes with having such saturation in the spec. But the final result doesn't seem to mind. Looks really great! Can't wait to see more!
Another question will this gpu specs sufficient enough to run this software on the laptop? It is what most default gaming laptops out there (below $2000) * NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated)
Rogelio > Thanks ! No normals at all, just plain diffuse (except for the two muddy/wattery rocky textures where I used an additionnal spec map) Dsenter > Thanks, I appreciate it :) Sotckwell > Thx
I like the presentation with the stand! He looks pretty flat, so crank out a nice spec map! And Yeah, his eyes seem pretty dark also seems kinda dark overall.
Thanks for the advice! Upped the spec and gloss values for the metal areas and the plastic grip. Also added some blue brushing to the metal, but it's very thick and needs to be more coarse. Anyways that's about it until tomorrow.
Would you mind e-mailing us at support@knaldtech.com with your system specs and whatever error messages or other problem descriptions you might have? Thanks! Chris Gilbert - KnaldTech Team
I really like the holster! The gun could use a bit more texture work though :P I'd say give metal a more darker shade and bump the spec. Good luck man!
for the bedroom scene, its looking nice but it seems like there needs to be more levels in there in terms of brightness and contrast. also on the window frame there's too much noise in the spec/gloss/texture. looks out of place
Yes I can. Updated it a bit more recently but I'm calling it basically done, it was only meant to be a test to see how I got on with creating a weapon. Texture sheets (Diffuse, Spec, Normal):
Looking pretty good, except everything seems a bit too saturated. The gold belt buckle, for example, would probably work better with a fairly desaturated yellow for the diffuse and then a saturated, bright yellow for the spec.
