I usually save before changes I wouldn´t want to do a 2nd time, just forgot it this time... I´m just wondering because there really was nothing special abnout the object. No big stack, correct scaling, no need to reset xform or anyting like that. I really only selected some edges, moved them and hit undo. -

I think I get your premise the sculpting straight in Zbrush to retopo workflow can be a pain, which is where I think good base meshes come into play. I'm guessing that's the solution. I'm experimenting with various UV layouts when things don't render correctly with the light maps. vertex lighting is cheaper, and you need a more dense mesh for decent detail.. light info is interpolated from one vertex to another.. each vertex can only have 1 color lightmapping is more expensive but pretty much standard I suppose, unless everything is dynamic.. you will need a 2nd uvset where every part of the mesh is… -

(lack of) warranty might be an issue to consider when buying 2nd hand. if you can live without that and the unit is in good shape, why not. there's probably a really good chance to get ahold of barely used devices since cintiqs are a bit like marmite, aren't they? as in: not for everyone. i know a few who had them at work… -
