Well cheers , Managed to get that ugly thing fixed up their by pressing the reset smoothing groups button , the smoothness is now gone but the only problem im getting now , which i never had before is the bent parts ? right at the front of my box ? ....
Thanks Miezis and Tadow! Back with a slight update. Added some claws, some bean-toes, some nips, and a gross belly button. I'm starting to think about where I want to keep hair short and where I will sculpt in some clumps.
dpad is a complete pos on the 360, but the sticks make far more sense, left stick opposite face buttons is just... obvious. i can understand your point with the imports though, must suck to want to play western games when you're in japan.
Threw together an image explaining... Project All just takes the unmasked areas of your current subtool and tries to match the surface detail of all the rest of your visible subtools, so mask off the areas that aren't part of the seam and just press the button.
Your web site is really well laid-out, awesome work! The crits I have are pretty minor: perhaps make the navigation buttons slightly more prominent, and I thought I was on another site when I hit Tutorials. But overall, awesome!
Nice link, Weiser_Cain - thanks! Here's a good one for clothing reference. Good for finding out folds and stuff. http://europe.zoovillage.com/store/default.asp They have nice high-res images for most of the clothes in there, just select a product and click the "Show Details" button.
I'll have to check when I get home to make sure it is still in 3.5R3, but there used to be a button for adding edge loops to visible faces. But usually I just adjust the base in an external app before sculpting (like Binopittan and Mop have suggested).
Dude you rock. So from what I get from this is that I can hack his code, assign it to my own scripts / buttons and then assign a hot key to it. Hmm that might actually be pretty easy. Am I on the right track here?
You reset xform under the last tab (err, tools? I have somewhat of a graphic memory. I can place it, but not name it :D ), the button's labelled 'reset xform'. Maybe what you did does the same though, I don't know.
This a bit easier on the eyes? I'm thinking to get crispier forms like you said, I should make things like straps and buttons separate, yes? I shall redo the neck brace entirely. As it seems like an random mass to me now.
