I know the basic methods for creating a tall grass model, or even using billboards. I hope I'm not the only one, but I'm pretty sure among dev's this is a common question. How would you go about making a tall grass texture?
Hello, this is my inhibitor I made a couple of basic sketches and came up with the general aspect. I was thinking of keeping the same style for the turret and making something different for the creep den. Let me know what you guys think.
@JamesBrisnehan Thanks for the feedback!! Def agree on beveling those edges. Gonna do a pass on the larger shapes and see where that lands. I'll play around with that curve as well. Much appreciated :)
skamberin....it's naughty dog....it's gonna be handheld/script. i want it to be free roam too. but it's not gonna happen w/this dev. they have too much dialed in w/their experience. shame kinda.

I'm in Austin and that's an expensive sandwich! LA is one of the most expensive cities in the US. Since it's a big gaming hub that's probably what skews the perception that game dev doesn't pay much.
Nice man :D Lets hope this all comes to something after the election. Out of interest, how does this compare to other countries tax breaks when it comes to game dev.?
