if you're going to do a sci-fi hallway and want to distinguish it from all the others, you'd do well to remember one simple thing : people in the future are still quite likely to want to push trolleys around.
Jackwhat- Thanks for those links man, I gotta get practicing, love to see who you are inspired by. Pior- That does make sense to me on Jack's third thumbnail, I'll have to keep that in mind in the future.
I'd love to but it's incredibly difficult to get purchases approved. I'll look at doing a clean install of Max in the near future - and I'll do a basic install and leave out all the extra plugins and such that the wider studio uses.
When you already use EQ's preferred method. In all seriousness, great write up. The thing about aligning inset shapes with the exterior is something I haven't thought about, will definitely keep that in mind in the future.
Thanks for that :) I've already re done it without the duplicated parts, then duplicated afterwards and that worked. But that's really useful to know for the future. Had no idea that having them outside the 0.1 space could have an impact like that. Thanks :)
Those environments look really stunning, great job on that! I wish I could paint concept like that... Maybe in the future could I try to turn them in 3d as an exercise? I will credit you of course :)
Apparently a Linux version of the store is not even on the roadmap which makes it far less appealing to us. Fingers crossed for support in the future. https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/epic-games-have-confirmed-a-linux-version-of-their-store-is-not-on-the-roadmap.13257
really great! textures for both pieces are awesome. just a personal thing tho.. nothing that has anything to do with you or your work.. but for future reference would you mind getting shots in perspective instead of orthographic?
Hah! I will in the future but at this point I literally am just learning my way through the programs, a baby learning to walk. Literally have nothing to post. Thinking school will help speed up that learning curve.
Thanks for the comments! @Ged: Yeah it's quite dark, I may will punch up the overall brightness in a future release. @Lephenix: I sticked more to a style similar to this, rather than incorporate flesh tones into his face.
