Thanks Revan! I did some texture work this week. Here's what I have conjured up so far. I need some help on where to go from here texture wise. I don't know where else I can add paint or something to make it more interesting. Or is it even fine like this? Help a man out!
Alexsey did a great job, but he also cribbed from a lot of places without attribution, which would be nice to add. He's abandoned that doc, and hasn't been back on Polycount for a few years now. But there are suggestions and additional info in his original thread. Worth a look:…
How did you unwrap this? It looks stretched like it was not properly unwrapped for offset texture sizes. It would be beneficial to see the texture on the model to get a better idea of where everything is supposed to be, but before you post this you should add your color flats under the render maps, so again we can get a…
Thanks for the feed back Cloudydays! Im definitely going to be adding alot more props to this version and I did add a bit of value change to the floors stones Also worked on some quick designs for the ceiling structure and the window style / design For the structure I'm leaning toward b and f For the window I'm liking…
Thanks guys, mainly it was textures and materials as I was a straightforward model to make. I'll add some dirt build up as you suggested and think about a follow up piece to make the next couple of days. I'm working on improving the folio. Oh I did post a wire it was a bit to faint though, the second image right hand side?…
Thanks man! Yea I hope so :) Will probably add some small stuff after that's too tedious to do with floaters. Did a quick dirty test bake with the geomtry I got so far, everything connected and continuous, sits at ~1300 tris which I think is OK. Some questionable smoothing and parts missing, but that will be sorted out,…
Nice job, but you really need to check proportions on the thumbs, they're really to far back from the other fingers and make the hands look ungraceful and if you plan on putting a lightsaber in her hand your might be up for a nasty surprise. Give her hands as much love as you did her face, it adds so much to the global…
I love this, great job. Brings back some great memories / nostalgia. some feedback: the model has kind of an extreme bend in the back which doesn't look to convincing. also u could maybe add some IES profile to the lights. also did u make this with pbr? if yes u could push the roughness a bit more. Keep it up!
I don't have DdO, ONLY Ndo2. PhotoshopCC-2014 run successfully as both Admin and Standard. Quixel Suite on the other hand, runs, when I click the Ndo2 icon, nothing happens as an Admin or Standard user. I reinstalled the latest version release from Nov 2014 and to my surprise the Quixel suite doesn't run at all as it did…
c22dunbar: Lighting, assembly, scripting, and other stuff is done in the editor very similar to how it is done in udk. Lighting is not baked it is all realtime lights. I just did this quickly to add some lighting to these shots for presentation here. I do not work at Crystal Dynamics anymore so I can not really show the…
