Hi Guys, Updating on textures of the head and upper body clothing [Screenshots] did with substance painter. Yet to get them dirty. C&C on colors and Textures are welcome!
Seems like a good start. The torn cloth in the reference image, along with the smoke effects, are what I think will really sell the scene once you get to them.
Good start! I'd really look at references for the types of clothes that fold the way Vivi's does to nail down how the folds compress, anchor from points, etc.
Thanks for doing that ScoobyDoofus, it looks cool. However i wanted my piece to be stylized, will also admit that i rushed things a little missing the proportions and the cloth folds.
towels shouldn't be getting that much wider at the end. Unless they are rigid.And cloth isn't stiff like that. Gravity should take over and prevent that much of a wide at the end of towers.
Slowly getting there...Just need to make the hair, an alpha map for the cloth and most likely relight the whole thing. Oh, and pose him too. And move on to another project!
Yeah it looks much better in motion, especially with all the cloth physics etc. I'm pretty sure( i hope ) there will be more tech demos after we're done.
The new girl Rin. I plan to make clothes in marvelous. Then, due to the morph function, simulate it for several poses for final renderings. How do you like proportions and anatomy?
