great proportions, super clean texture work, not a space marine or stupid-ass monster - and! - theres a puppy! awww a puppy. This work deserves a high five, but alas - the internet.
Texture atlas, or packed texture, same thing. The modeling style is called modular, ala the Mod Facade Challenge. More modularity info here: http://wiki.polycount.net/CategoryEnvironment
aha, but mine already has little oval pads on it that keep the slippery plastic tablet from sliding around on the table. Im also thinking its to tilt it, cheers :]
Aha, that's why I get so excited whenever I see a new Soul thread! Your proportions and polyflow are as good as ever. Oh, and it's Link. That's good too.
Updated this animation a bit. Still needs a bit of work though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDiQO9-qb8A Edit: Aah, shit.. Sorry for double-posting guys :(
Aah, this is such a nice looking model, got a lot of style. Almost reminds me of a knight of the blazing sun from warhammer fantasy. beautiful work. looking forward to the textures.
I realize this is a pretty popular concept, and that it's been attempted a few times before. My plan for this is to end up with a gaming asset, not just the high poly. All concept credit to Luke Mancini, AKA Mr. Jack.
Aha! There are some additional links in the Youtube comments that explain things further. Houdini was also used. https://www.realtimeuk.com/blog/houdini-special-request-farm-sim-top-tip/
