Thank you for showing us your progress! Keep learning and good luck :) You're improving a lot even withing just this short amount. Imagine what you can do in the future if you keep it up! :)
Man...that is some creepy ass box art! I love it! ....I thought it was a photograph at first. Thanks for the link! I love reading behind the scenes stuff...hopefully you'll have some environment guys in the future?
Thanks for the explanation :) It actually makes sense, would be cool to see it in a game engine. I think that your explanation will be usefull to me to keep in mind for my future works ^^ can't wait to see more works of yours
I'll try these things next Hito and AGoodFella when I'm next going in for a render and see if this helps any. Although to save headache in future I think I will just animate at 30fps. Thanks everyone for the replies.
mLichy, correct, it's best to generate a heightmap from your source image then turn that into normals. sama.van, could you post a screenshot of what's going on there with the H2N dialog? Also, a 3D preview is definitely planned for future versions.
hey bluekangaroo, I've been through your thread because might be interest in Rockstar as well in the future, so can you give us an update on what happend next for you :) ? (the best, I hope!) thanks
I personally prefer 3point, and if a future update includes a small tool for rendering out sequential frames from the viewport I will love them forever. I know its possible with other scripts but that's not the point :D
@ChristianWilliam @Mehran Khan Thank you guys! I really enjoyed this project and Kris Thaler made it really easy to understand the design with his concept. I'm planning on modeling a few more of them in the future
I put in 2 orange lights and I toned down the white lights a bit. In the future I think I should plan out my lighting ahead of time. Here's what I changed up.
