I find it shocking to read that today's youth gets exposed to vile filth such as megablocks. After even a short amount of exposure I required extensive therapy. Back in my day we had lego and all was well. But this ... Won't somebody please think of the children ?
I personally use Z Remesher with extensive use of curves to take it down a few levels, then I take them into Maya and manually finish it off in there. I haven't used an automatic topology tool that actually creates perfect topology, I'd rather do it by hand.
Ambershee: I don't really have anyone that I trust to that extent within the US. I'm also looking for advice from a legal stand point, would a simple contractual agreement between me and the US contact stating that they agree to transfer the funds raised suffice?
edit: sry i was to fast... i though you are working with maya... you have to load the mayatomr plugin in the plugin manager and restart maya... in 2012 mr is integrated trough extension attributes... so you cant turn them off and on during a running session...
As opposed to all the people who have internal water cooling? Couldn't you just get headphone extensions? I think this looks really awesome, but I would like to see some other models being made other than weird geometric shapes.
Would it be possible to add a polygon layer attached to the upper eyelid with a transparent shadow texture? (think decal) That way you could animate it with the eyelid. Although it won't be physically accurate, and not remove all of the specular, it would follow the eyelid and maybe sell the effect to some extent?
Thanks :) I've used bipeds before but not extensively. However, looking forward at the task I'm about to embark on id much rather spend some time learning the advanced settings of bipeds than spend likely a lot more time fixing and troubleshooting a bone rig.
