yes you can use SATA with IDE. just like IDE RAID setups, you'll need a 2nd SATA HDD of the same kind to make a RAID setup. on another note, if your installing windows from a fresh start, you will need your mobo's SATA drivers on floppy to insstall windows, or else it won't detect the drive. -

Try an older driver. I recently moved my Intous2 to another XP machine. The recommended driver didn't work, but the older ArtZ driver does! It recognized my Intuos2 pen, and did a good job with setting up the sensitivity. I selected the 2nd-to-last option here, the UD Series/etc. http://www.wacom.com/downloads/drivers.php -

Can both be used for/as the same thing. A lightmap generally refers to directional baked lighting, for games this will be on a 2nd uv set for environment stuff. However, if you bake a lightmap in max with just a skylight and no direction lights, its AO. No difference..... Light Tracer/Mental ray, differences will be… -

Have you tried deleting the lowest subdivision level instead of using the 2nd? There are a few things that pop in my mind like trying to uncheck "subdiv uvs" down in v-ray; remove all filtering also in v-ray and minding your scale when exporting from zbrush. If you find another solution I would like to hear it, please. -

Pretty much finished with my High Poly, I am still missing some surface normals, but am planning on doing a 2nd pass after I project. Kinda disappointed with the fps view. A minigun isn't really seen in the HUD considering how it is held. I exaggerated it a little bit so you could at least see part of the handle. -
