Yeah, the games aren't great. I got a really good deal on mine, which is why I got it. At least in the US you have Steel Diver and Pilotwings. The only decent launch games we have are streetfighter and to a lesser extent Ghost Recon.
As far as I know 2MB only apply to image gallery on items page. In description you should definitely put bigger gif. Now I see that Luna looks sweet, but I don't know to what extent ^^. Looking forward to this and Venge as well!
Sculpting is generally reserved for making very high poly models (millions of polygons) to be used as a source for generating a normal map for your low poly game model (thousands of polygons). Zbrush, Mudbox and to a lesser extent 3d coat and blender are all capable of sculpting.
Most AAA studios in Europe have at least a few seats of Substance Designer and are using it in a way or another. We can't publicly announce who is using Substance extensively on current projects though but I'll be able to give you more details by PM if needed.
Well, the approach I mentioned is technically using a cage. The main difference is the ease of use and the fact that you can still play around, to an extent, with the Ray Distance. Added, modifying the cage in 3DS Max is a breeze vs modifying it in XNormal. Atleast to my experience.
What's so special about the Infernal engine that makes it so easy to work with? From what I've been hearing, the workflow isn't shockingly easy or anything. I'd like to hear from someone who's used it extensively, so please: enlighten me!
Good starting point is always studies of others work or life-studies of objects to hone your basic skills. Either that or just draw with extensive reference so that you can augment your work on the fly with shapes and details beyond your current level.
Info concerning the game using this engine. http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showpost.php?p=180829&postcount=5 what I like is the talk about aerial battles and breaking branches and stuff to that extent. and support for dual cores is nice and possability of support quad-cores
snap... i didn't realize people were actually pissed about this... good gravy... i thought this was all just playful banter about their notorious release date extensions.... it's pixologic........... makers of awesome free shit for a one time base price... *sigh*.....
Click on object and then use "Zoom extents all selected" (Z if using default hotkeys, I think - just edit the hotkey to what you want, same solution applies to your Alt+Z not working, just bind zoom tool to another key)
