Flow is definitely to strong, and have wrong color. It should have color more similar to terrain around it, or or should be more sandy. Flow map defines well.. Flow. Which means places where water >flow< trough terrain. You should check how it look in real rives and dyed rivers.
Okay..so ive decided to go for the HP, after learning it can upgrade the.ram to have.16gb.just buy.replacing the 4gb with an 8gb plus an extra hdd slot makes it.much.more suitable with the quad core processor. Many thanks for helping and will definately start posting work done on my new laptop asap
Nox but flash means flash, and in russian it is not only "camera flash" I was thinking of a better word but unfortunately couldn't find one. And what do you think would be better? Inpw yeah, and it is a transliteration. So we are actually have a word for trace a "след" "Sled" but it sounds not cool) and definately not as…
Hoy guys! Thx for the comments! I couldn't work as much as I wanted but I've finally defined what I needed on the character and I think I'm ready to start the 3D production !! lightbird : I'll use Zbrush and 3DS max I guess ( I dont know anything else anyway ).
You didn't quite nail the feel of the concept. There's this planar feel to the folds and fur that you didn't seem to keep in the final render or sculpt. It feels more mushy and soft in your sculpt. The nose is not defined. The eyes are not wide and large like it is in the concept. The legs do not feel chunky and buxom like…
The first thing that stands out is how ill-defined the lower lateral cartilage is... Grab some reference, like this great sculpt from Selwy.com The forms on the rest of the face look to kinda be there, but keep working on them. Also, i noticed a bump in the middle of the head, maybe this was caused by the symmetry brush?…
I love the style you've captured and carried through the model , it's definately your own. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished piece you've got a lot of great ideas and the ability to make them a reality. Keep up the amazing work. ps. you should normal map it... it'll be hawt...
After trying both, I can honestly say Modo is definately not seven times better than Silo. I personally like Silo even more than Modo, but I'm sure that's up to a persons individual tastes. I just think if you have an individual's wallet and not a corporation's, Silo is for you.
I definately agree with cholden about the mid level detail, the basic shape of the room isnt hidden at all by the fine tech stuff, and the stark contrast from low to high detail is a bit distracting. Having said that I love the fine detailing and I think the actual work youve put into it is fantastic.
Oh yes most definately lol I am a very people person and a team player, I always have to communicate anyways or ill bore byself to death if i dont have interaction with others.. Plus my teammates are my roomates... we all work at the same studio right now.
