Yeah, go to: C:\UDK\UDKGame\Config\UDKGame.ini Somewhere in the section where this is defined (like line 606 abouts..) add this: [YourMapName UTUIDataProvider_MapInfo] MapName=YourMapName PreviewImageMarkup=PackageName.FolderName.NameOfImage This should work fine. For YourMapName, DO NOT add the .udk file extension.
Find this file …\bin\assemblies\Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll (example for path – C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2015\bin\assemblies\Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll) and Rename it Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll.back p.s. before that you have to enable to view the hidden files and file extension" This worked for me
Aaw I still don't know what to do exactly, and others are already doing similar things to some of my first ideas :s Will be dumb if there several times the same things. Time to do some more extensive researches and brainstorming for me.
Well I think I might wrap Photoshop extensions in it cause you can't mess with it without killing to the signing ticket. But it's cool to know you can check against it. If I find anything I'll let you know of course 😊
I loved Underground and - to an extent - Underground 2. Not really been interested in any other NFS games but The Run's been looking like something I'd want to play. Although reading the comments in here perhaps I'll wait and grab it on OnLive or something...
I would lean towards saying the Carpaint & Architectural shaders (under nodes>illumination), but that's a stab in the dark for me. I'm not sure how the shaders work in the other programs, and I'm using an outdated version of Softimage (and by extension, probably mental ray as well)
Great idea you have there. Ive been messing around and im wondering the extents of the engine i dont feel like rendering out 4096 1024 heightmaps atm but im wondering if its possible. smaller tests resulted in poor results
Agreed on the anti-climatic title :) Yes, this would definitely be suited to creating a modular kit. There is an extensive section on lightmapping in the Unreal docs. That's the first place you should look as it gives many examples of when/why to use different unwrapping methods for lightmapping.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momentum But you are right, it is a matter of taste to a certain extent. I am used to an extremly light hardcore gaming mouse (but I still suck, damn it's the sk1lls not the hardware) and those wireless mice feel like bricks to me.
Zoinks, thanks for the extensive crits, guys. Vitor's right, that was a most astounding crit, Vig. Best one I've ever gotten. Hi ho, hi ho, its back to work I go. An update a day keeps the mom jokes at bay.
