I would probably try shoving something else on that prop texture. Maybe a similar, smaller prop that will be used a lot in the same areas. Or if you have alpha available, use the remaining 1/4 as a space for decals or texture swaps to do a variant of the prop. 1/4 of a 512x512 is quite a lot of space to just waste on… -

What you see in the screen shots is wood texture. The barnicles are below the water line, because this part of the loch is full. Have you played all those sequels? If so, you'd know that they aren't really related. Quake 2 has nothing to do with Quake 1 and Quake 3 has nothing to do with either. Quake4 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein were developed by other studios, so those don't really count either. IMO, the only property that id has developed… -
Huge thanks for letting scale imported objects
I miss that feature so much in Substance Designer . Asked them for decade to do it . So we could import a plane and squeeze it for some 256x2048 texture preview without searching through hard drive. And also thanks for letting drop a packed texture and use a selected channel as roughness, metal etc without any extra tricks… -
