Re: 3ds max unselectable vertices and edges
Could be a scale issue. ZB scale is a factor of 100 smaller than Max. Extremely large or tiny scenes can cause errors like this. Try merging to a fresh scene and immediately scale x100 and reset xform/collapse -

For some reason two of the soundtracks have an error. I get an unexpected end of archive thing on Jamestown and Shank (Winrar). 7zip doesn't like them either. Downloaded them twice but no luck, will check again in a few days. -

Nice I like your take on him, above his wrist on the final image is that some sort of error? Looks to be UV but I can't tell from that angle, maybe on his hair on the far left image as well? -

Thanks Alex I understand, but only to explain better. If the mesh is hard surface, any loops or edge that I enter can generate error in normal. Is there any way to do without generating artifacts in normal or distortion in the shader? -

Need a specular map? Just desaturate your diffuse map and your done. Normal maps should be a flat bluish color you need to paint out all those shading errors that look like colorful gradients. -

Can't say I have. I just finished a bake from a cage and it did exactly what it should be doing...granted, it's not displaying right in toolbag 2...but that's another matter. Could you post a pic by chance of the error? -

Can you directly tell me the problems ?? .. I like to learn from my mistakes through trial and error. I've been told not to watch tutorials and etc. That's how I learned what I know now. -

i rather liked the old mountains. new sun position is much better - makes the peeling on the trailer much more apparent, whereas before I thought it was a graphical error at first. what's that painted on the rock right by the camera? -

Gumbata . If u didnt got any errors ,its most likely the size of it . when you import a fbx in 3dmax , you gotta put "centimerers" in the importer Its most likely 100 times smaller hope that helps
