My lord, I remember doing stuff for uni. Don't give too much attention to minute details that may not even read in the final model just yet, I'd suggest you continue to finish with your bigger forms and finalize the model as much as you can before doing the cloth etchings in mudbox.
yea really, if the game is broken don't release it but companies continue to keep releasing games that flat out do not work to make a quick buck before anyone notices. Plenty of game that "push" the envelope in several areas work fine out of the box. Yet certain companies keep doing it over and over again
Honestly, it's not that bad and I think that if you keep at it it has a lot of potential. I like this newest update but I really really want to know why youre set on those color lights. Also the fact you want this to be the best it can be and are finishing it means that if you continue doing that you could go far.
Thanks for the comments guys :) I have had a really rough play about with colours and wanted to get some opinions. I'm not going for a particular Warhammer faction or anything, just a colour scheme I like. The colours are very rough so it would be great to get an idea of preferences before I continue :) Thanks
Thanks for your continued support guys! I am going to call it a day on the head now as I really need to move on and finish off the body, sort out the hair etc as well as sorting out the blade and rifle. I don't want to be known as that guy who takes a year to make a character lol
thanks Rogelio. Ill continue to keep this up and do my best to improve my abilities. As of now im at a cross roads with my shotgun as I both like and dislike the detail designs on the stock and fore-end. Should I create a separate thread for my shotgun progress and use this thread as the final delivery?
thanks - 1024 being what what it is, and this being ultimately for fpv, I decided to cut the stock off about 1/3rd of the way back on the UV so I could save resolution, as you noticed. the front part is about as dense as the receiver. it would've been nice for presentation to have kept it continuous though!
Congrats guys. :) I was really surprised about the stamps, when they emailed us the other day about some kind of continuous payments for mapmakers I assumed it would be something more gameplay related. So who bought hoodoo/coldfront/mann manor stamps? I'd like to say thank you! :p
I've been learning more zbrush techniques; mainly nanomesh and Pablander's amazing skin tutorial! I'm not done with the tut yet, but after I am, and after a few youtube tuts on painting human skin, I think I'll be ready to continue the Haydee sculpt. Head sculpt/tutorial by Pablander: Nanomesh experimentation:
I was able to add more shadows using the color blue. I think it's starting to look better. I also resized the head. I'll continue working on this tomorrow when I get the chance. What other things do you think need improvement? Thank you for your time. Joan Santus.
