I hadn't thought of its exact function. I decided it will be a gas mask with a power source in the back. Thanks for the comment keeping functionality in mind will help me define it from here. I will post an update over the weekend!
Also I'm getting seams on my textures even though there aren't seams on them in Photoshop. http://prntscr.com/6lt2ft I'm using a texture coordinate at 64 x 64. That's power of 2 so it should be fine right?
Yes. It is also the most powerful thing in modo. Aligning the grid to a face, edge, vertex selection. Check it out; [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeiNQ-RoIJ0"]modo quick tip: using the workplane - YouTube[/ame]
I've used pixelplow.net in the past. Basically, you download an agent, upload your scene and wait for it. You can choose the computational power and that's going to affect the pricing. It's priced based on Ghz/h. Quite good for Vue renders!
Why would you get an smartphone, when you could get a Nokia 3310 that does connection and power management better then any iPhone or droid device... you can even run it over with a tank and it will still work....
Now I'm having a hard time telling if the metal is a light color or if the spec is over-powering the diffuse, you may need to add gloss if that is the case. The skin and cloth still look flat, I'm not sure if it is the lighting though.
Try playing all the champions and learning their playstyle, then use the power of Google to look for champ-specific builds. It's also good to watch pros play on Youtube. See what cards they often use. Look up deck builds.

I basically started out with Substance. Every time I use it I fall in love with it again, just because of how powerful it is and how well it works for me. I tend to mix it up with Photoshop a lot though.
Is it a work in progress? Nice first draft anyway, just be careful to maintain the same pixel ratio on all your objects or some of them will seems to be blurred. Maybe this feeling is reinforced form your powerful DOF at the same time :) .
