Nice and clean, well done. As far as lighting and composition goes, maybe do something with the hole. Could add a steam/fog layer or greatly reduce the lighting that bleeds down to make the center piece pop out even more.
Looks pretty good, only real crits I have is the lighting. It looks a tad to dark up close by the desks then a little to light in the background and where the hallway is behind the desks. The left wall just blends right into the next wall.
So I have retried different approaches to the bark for almost a full day now and am now getting something .... or I am making a dinosaurs foot. To be decided haha. Or should I go for a more muted/blended approach?
Unless whatever is on top of the metal is transparent or blends into the metal, a material is typically metal or non metal. There is some paints that seem semi metallic as well. But unless the paint is semi-transparent, you need to go off the metalness value of the paint.
I'd like to know about know-how part of the UE4 shader too. Now UE4 deferred decals have limitations like straight uniform overriding base color/roughness/metalness without blending and lack of metalness support.
Thanks!I'm not making dirty texture or too much damage and offset because clean texture can be edit into dirty one by photoshop or blend in engine.but dirty texture cannot be reverse to clean one when I need to use.
My guess was outsourcing. The whole project screams outsourcing to me - and the assets themselves are pretty weak (are the tanks made of marzipan?). It's pretty disheartening to see how this once mighty franchise has been crippled and left to bleed out and die.
Creature 3 needs more colour definition. Everything looks the same and blended in. Try getting some contrasting colours going. Liking the design on creature 4, im not great on anatomy so i wont comment there. Keep it up!
For some of the problem areas, you can go into vert mode, turn on soft selection and relax just those areas. It will often relax better on a selection rather than the whole thing and the soft select will help it blend into the surrounding area.
Amazing light effectss i love it!!! When i see the quality of your handpainted stuff i even feel kinda bad to see those pistol and coins pictures, they dont really blend it, but the overall feeling is still good :)
