Hi Everyone, The team and I wanted to say thank you for all of the support and continue to send us your sample; we are always looking for fresh new talent. Especially, storyboard/concept artist. Lets make a game!!! Here is a new model one of our 3d artist was working on: Attachment not found.
Hi, Sziada, glad you like SplineBrancher :) In the meantime I've gotten a few bugs worked out of it and have it running faster as well. The updated free and full versions are available at the same location. (Also, anyone who purchases the full version at any time will continue to get the newest versions as they become…
and another: Im not perfectly happy with all but I'm continually doing some iteration over the time and I want to keep the best of them for future installments in the same universe, especially the ones with the more unique mechanics. Let me know if you have any favorite and which you think plain suck ; )
No, I just wanted to make sure that that was how it worked before I made a stupid mistake. I don't want to jump into that area for sure, I just couldn't afford Max. It turns out, Modo's educational setup apparently is commercial, so I'll just continue learning that. :) Thanks for the quick reply!
Really reaaallly refreshing to know that a teacher actually continues to push his own skillsets as well as his students, this is something we lack to an extent in our course, and seeing what you're students have done really illustrates the fact that having a teacher who "knows his shit" is invaluable. Well done!
Sadly I won't be able to finish it on time, but I'll finish it later. I just need to continue polishing, and eliminate all these watery edges. Some areas like the collar aren't shaded correctly but I need to think about it to see what exactly doesn't work there. The background just needs to be ironed.
Hey guys. Thanks for the feedback. Shrike: I totally agree with your critiques. I am working on revising all of that this time around. As follows is a polypaint pass I did in zbrush. Should have a bake to realtime soon and will continue to iterate on texture on the real time model. Feedback is appreciated. Cheers. -ABT
Update: Hey guys! We had a quite interesting amount of applicants who wanted to join for the 3D Character Artist Position which is now closed and taken. I'm sorry for those who didn't get through, but that shouldn't discourage you to continue. Yet, there is an open position - Unreal Script Programmer for the UDK.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll start a full weapon and post some progress pics here. I actually continued to go small with pistols. I have a few but I just refused to texture them lol. I will start texturing one and then post some progress pics as well. Maybe today or tomorrow.
Hey, little update. I redid the crotch area and gloves, also added extra edges to animate limbs. The boots are different from the concept, but I like these sneakerish boots better. Should have a look at, what can I simplify even more at the model before continuing with the face and extra equipment.
