This thread is relevant to my interests. :| We actually just setup a production pipeline for a tabletop wargame with miniatures, completely independent.. It's been a huge learning experience so far. Was going to start a thread on the progress. Does that count? :D
Great! I love squigs, and this is a very good rendition ... reminds me of the miniatures a lot! You should totally do a goblin for a squig hopper too ... I was considering doing a highpoly goblin fanatic recently Cool work!
on the brightside, they said that they didnt have any money to pay him before he sent them the track, rather than after two weeks of working on stuff...Another reason that I dont miss the miniatures industry :D
Hey guys! I went for a different approach for the Mars surface, I hope that's fine and that you like it :) It's kind of a miniature! View from the surface Ole / ArtStation (Edit 26/9/17: Uploaded new, colour-corrected images)
And one more....this is one of the monsters from my game that Im currently sculpting. You may have noticed these miniatures...I have been printing them out myself with 2 Anycubic Photon UV Resign Printers. Cheers! - - -
I'm almost ready to post a thread on my workflow for 28mm miniature production, from ZBrush > 3D Print > Green Stuff > Mold > Little plastic guys > .. Profit? Truly a learning experience, I feel like a pioneer! :x
I personally think you should stay away from idea where this environment is made on a round turntable or whatever. It makes it look like its a miniature size decoration for your table rather than an existing place in the world.
Poly Painting in zbrush before baking to a diffuse... Feels exactly like painting a miniature but then I can overlay different maps in photoshop so excited to see how all the computer generated light shadow and highlights works out.
Nice! But some of the scenes felt like miniatures, for some reason - especially the one where the A-10 's missile blows up one of the PC's. Still, very well done, and better than I could do right now!
