Hey Chen, Love the style, the paint is so clean and readable. I also like the vertex bake, it adds a lot to the atmosphere. Would you mind giving us a little insight into the texture creation process, did you use zbrush or just straight painting? I'm kind of struggling with my painting at the moment :/ Cheers, K
Started on the missile/rocket in the center, please tell me what you think! I'm planning to add decals etc. later on I also did a lot of behind the scenes work on my shader and added some new materials. Also adjusted some colours, settings etc. and added fog Thoughts/feedback/crits welcome :)
Finished the body! Before you say anything about the legs being too long or the upper legs too wide, look at the concept! The legs are not realistically proportioned to the torso. But, if after considering that you still think anything is wrong, let me know :) Oh, and I did add a tiny bit more definition to the ribs.
Here my take. I think in the end Sony did the right thing. Because all of the people criticizing Sony for not showing the movie, would be the first to criticize Sony for releasing the movie had an attack happen at a theater. This is 'Merica, the land of the lawsuits. They should just go direct to DVD/Streaming and rake in…
It looks to me like you need more padding? Also try what EQ suggested. Also did you change the low poly mesh after baking? Like change the smoothing groups or add/remove geometry, weld a few points or detach an element? All of that would fubar the normals and lead to all kinds of seams.
Pretty much agree with whats been said, I like it. Just wanted to add that I think you did a great job on the camera work, the way it tilts slightly as it pans around the cathedral is good. Looks more like an actual storyboarded camera movement, as opposed to the "move the camera around and look at things" camera.
Here are some more pictures of my high-poly models. I'm a little off schedule so they may not be as detail like they should be. I'm not that good at sculpting but I think I did OK for all my pieces. Now I need to start making low-poly versions and add some UVs to them.
Me too. Rorshach endorsed it, and I bought it on a random, extremely-trusting whim when I saw it at Best Buy later that night. I'm glad I did! I've watched it through twice now, once in that first weekend and then again with a friend (who's also addicted now). I can't wait for the second season on DVD!
finally did some work on this guy over the weekend, and i'm feeling pretty close to being done. I might add spurs and, i still see little things i want to fix. any feedback you guys have is cool. i'm going to rig him and see if i still remember how to animate..
[ QUOTE ] Hi Pior , maybe this - http://www.alexutting.com/animations.html [/ QUOTE ] Wow, I didn't know anyone out there knew of my site, thanks man! I guess I'll add my latest. I did a couple of walks a while back, trying to express different emotions with them. Just a test you could say.
