Sourcy refers to the spots/pools of light that you have. Either soften the penumbra or add some fill lights to blend them better into the scene. Key light refers to you main directional lights, these are the strongest in your scene.
Looks really good Woogity, have you submitted yet? maybe it's just my monitor but the darker brown fur could really use some more highlights/variation as right now it just blends in to the rest of the outfir.
Thank you @Froyok 1. The substance is set to tri planar projection. The layers fed into it are UV projected. My solution now is to use a grey color for the substance and just blend it on the color layers with overlay, works fine too.
Yeah, it will cause a lot of problems in game too, to pack textures like this you need to add a lot of padding to make sure that the textures don't bleed together and cause seams when it mips. I would split them.
Very cool. She's looking great. I'm also fascinated by your process. I like the semi cell shaded look that you start with laying in your shadows and lights then blending them. It really emphasizes the forms well.
wow looks great! One think you may want to look into is changing the color on Valentine's armor right now it's blending in a lot with his skin. With a color change you may be able to pop it out a bit more.
I'm not sure I know what ya mean about the morph target. Do you mean save the morph target of the model before sculpting the details and sculpt on the copy and then use the morph brush to blend the details to the original?
[ QUOTE ] my sentiments exactly. I'd also add some cake into those knockers. After all, in q3 lucy was.. blessed. [/ QUOTE ]Yeah, I'll fix that in Zbrush. The extra loop in the stomach is probably a good idea though.
did you see the recent episode of family guy where brain teaches a class full of rejects who are happy to get jobs as ditch diggers and hookers? yeah. god bless america. flip my burgers bitch!
3DGuru. Stick with it. You have a ways to go, but bless your heart for having an entrepreneurial spirit. I am already impressed by your attitude. You are taking the harsh Crits pretty well. Keep at it and keep making models. :)
