This is looking stellar, Selaznog. Love seeing your work develop to even higher levels. The blending of the plaster and brick textures looks great, I'm also curious how you did the material. Keep these awesome updates coming. ;)
Besides the dumb name, seems like a pretty neat app. Haven't seen vector based marker blending before. But imo it's still alittle early in development, how do they expect you to paint with a static mouse pointer?
this is all really good stuff, but i feel like the silhouettes of these characters are bland and they sort of blend together, maybe mix up the poses a little more or move and scale some things around to make a more interesting outline.
Looking great so far. Really nice rendering. And for the leather texture that you're having trouble, study it first. Use some reference and practice, try new brushes, use blending options idk, go crazy. hahah
No idea if 3d coat supports it but you could try treating the mesh with tiling maps as a high poly and do a projection bake However. Surely your in game shader will blend the unique bake with the tileables so this isn't a problem
In the Color menu, choose the "Color Material Channel" and the "Color Blend Setting", since you aren't seeing your texture you don't need to toggle the color display setting to see your vert colors. Hope that helps.
No, the setup is fine and does work with absolute RGB values. Yellow would simply give you a 1 to 1 blend between 2 textures. http://h9.abload.de/img/udkvertexblend1cmlmd.jpg http://h9.abload.de/img/udkvertexblend2o8aks.jpg
Through a tutorial I leaned a way to set up a custom shader for easier color/brightness/contrast change. I can use a material instance to tweak values for more controlled blending and variation. It is used on the ferns above.
I go 7 and ubuntu myself laptop exclusively ubuntu, I was a late comer to linux really but found it easy, and fun in a lot of ways it blends old school computing with new school, I love using the terminal.
@Mistry10: Thanks, I've have thought it too! Because of that, I have made another version without those weeds. I'll blend the textures latter in my landscape! @Minos: I'm glad you liked, thank you!
