I'm a personal fan of adding initials as a prefix to scene files, so you can track down the original owner / artist at a glance without having to check through P4. Also helps with accidentally naming a file the same as another artist. -

Well, I liked the movie. But then, I'm predisposed to like anything by Aronofsky. Taking everything into account, it's not my favorite of his movies, but still quite good. Was a little put off initially by the stop-motionesque animation of the cg, but it quickly grew on me. -

Hopefully this is helpful info: I loaded the prebaked opacity map and added the channel via DDO as you suggested, and it works initially. If you put a material on that section of the model, it stops working and you have to enable it again through 3DO for it to work. -

This is a great initiative, awesome stuff! Have already found a tone of environments and props I want to make now. terry1337: Wow, that amazing, thank you for sharing that! Also, finding some of my own work in there really made my day! :) -

If I were to build a lighting portfolio, I'd also build the environments I am lighting. That is not indicative of what you'd be doing in your job as a lighter, but it shows you a.) take initiative and b.) have more skills beyond being a lighter. -

The initial texturing pass This is where i'm at now. I still have a few things to tweak, but overall i think i'm close to finishing it up and will set up the lighting and presentation shots in Marmoset. Feedback is greatly appreciated as always! :blush: -

BTW ... a general thanks to you guys. You've been totally vindicating the initial decisions we made when setting up the art for games curriculum for the Guildhall at SMU. Essentially, train yourself to be a good artist first. Then train to be a game artist. -

Cool. If I caught my kids talking to this guy I'd tell them to get back in the house. I mean- he's fairly dark, ya know? Was this your initial intent? Excellent execution, anyway. Er... ditto on the jacket wrinkles.
