A bit of trial-and-error might be useful here. What happens if you leave off the detail normal map, and just use your original normal map? Does the problem go away? thanks -Ryan
I've had this happen before, and I was able to fix it by messing with a few of the export settings; specifically, resetting it to "Normal", as I recall. But probably worth poking around. To me it seemed like a refresh error essentially, like for some reason it just wasn't quite connecting to the normal map until I changed…
though not a great fix this will clear the error :anguished: macroScript fix_menu_artifacts category: "fix dum arsery" buttontext: "artifix" Icon: #("MergeAnim",1) tooltip: "fix right click menu artifacts" ( on execute do colorMan.repaintUI #repaintAll )
hello I finally found the solution to the problem, I exported it with a pose library in blender and everything worked correctly, apparently I read that blender has many errors when exporting to engines such as ue 4 or marmoset
Looks cool. Yeah its always the same with Bakes... A good, error-free bake takes his time. When i bake, i must rebake at least 5 Times XD But it depends on the complexity of the mesh.
I got some more WIP shots, I've straigtened out the sides and fixed the mesh errors around the side panels. The seam to the left of the first panel is because the tail and body are seperate pieces right now.
@DanielR17, Merci beaucoup :) C'est juste beaucoup de pratique, et surtout trial and error. En tout cas, merci pour tes kind words. (je voudrais bien voir tes travaux aussi)
When i bake and have such a little error, i startup my photoshop mad skills and paint the troubled areas. Since what i want is to output a texture and not sitting around and press the bake button in Maya. ;)
@ZacD That's what I thought, I mean, some of the Gnomon DVD's are pretty pricey, and you would get to see all the trial and error, the creative process, everything, at least if it was done how this guy plans on doing it.
