Cleaning scanned model in Zbrush is a waste of time IMO. You should rather focus on having better pictures and right shooting strategy . So photogrammetry soft would do less of noise and artifacts. Anyway Zbrush tools work very bad on meshes exported directly from Reality capture or Metashape. Only way to fix something IMO… -

Camera 14 bit is not the same as with an image. Usually camera raw contains pretty good range of brightness beyond 0-1 , thus we could fix overexposure in RAW pretty much like in exr files. But for some uncertain reason every RAW processing soft output just clipped 8 or 16 bit file where you already couldn't squeeze… -

Zbrush is like clay in digital form, and you can make almost anything from clay in real life. So I guess it's possible. I would use both max and zbrush/sculptris when it makes sense though.
