Yup saw it there as well. I'm wondering though, would you have to have read the original to be able to make any sense from this? Because I'm thinking, if you haven't you can't possibly know what changes in this "alternate" universe..
yeah I read about this a month or so ago and was super interested. I'll probably sign up if it's not too expensive and I use it enough. sounds super useful though, but we'll see how much use it actually gets for me :)
I gotta admit, the textures could use some accentuated gradations and off hues to make it pop a little more and not feel flat. I'd argue the red painted metal could use that especially, and keep the pure metal clean. This is just a suggestion for a solution to this criticism I have right now that it's reading a bit flat.…
Hello all! It has been a while since I last posted but now I started work on a very cool project again and want to share the progress. For our graduation movie we are creating a cyberpunk music video called "Neoshin" and attempt to create a (hopefully) photoreal digidouble as main character which I will be creating We held…
"context is more important than anything when dealing with color." Context is what a colour gamut is. The problem isn't that everything he says is wrong, the problem is that he is just showing effects of light without understanding or explaining why it works. Sorry if i sound a bit harsh, but I'm pretty passionate about…
That facial animation really is something else. Involuntary twitches of the eye and all! Also, and maybe its just me, but the eyes and the head seem to be one continuous mesh? Either that or its heavy anti-aliasing, because I don't the discernible give-away edge where the eye should meet the eyelid, à la:…
Ok my solution worked for he head but , It is not very much helping for the all detail scales all around ... when I get into very fine detail I get blocky scales or non uniform looking ... I have found a very interesting tutorial where the author , that is maker of the dinosaurs in "planet dinosaur" ...…
Neebler is 100% right with his statements, read them carefully! The face in a character concept, at least in the final image, is everything. If this looks wrong, the rest doesn´t really matter anymore. There are also some anatomical issues, concerning her left (seen from us the right) upper leg.. feels too thin to me,…
@pior - many big vfx studios already do that. some game studios have done it i belive but i cant remember which ones. also i believe i read somewhere that original doom did something like that for the monsters. i would guess the main issue with traditional sculpting-to-digital process is that it is too slow and too messy.…
Rather then post a new advertisement we are posting an update that we are still looking for character modelers for a separate project from the original post. We have a large amount of character Art work that needs to be created. All of this work is photo-real stylistically. The nature of the work is some full body/full…
