Thanks Parnell. Minotaur0, I use FL Studio Fruity Loops Edition. It's the cheapest alternative I know. You can simply use your typing keyboard as a musical keyboard in FL Studio so you don't need a midi keyboard to start. -

Yep. Go to the "Settings and examples" on the right, and click the "save settings" button to save your project as .XML file. -
