Thanks for the comments, I'll move the pushbar down, I was looking at door sizes and seems right about 80 inches x 32 inches and the door handles right around 35 or so inches, so I'll fix that up a bit, here's a boring interior with generic lighting from the above scene
Guh. I told myself I wouldn't be excited for this game's multiplayer. Then, suddenly, Giant Bomb releases an Ask Me Anything on Halo: Reach. 35 minutes of beta gameplay footage, and some (probably mostly incorrect) questions and answers. http://www.giantbomb.com/ask-me-anything-halo-reach/17-2381/
I have a question regarding normal maps and the "Smoothing Angle" setting. In Modo the default is 40 and Max I believe is 35. To bake normal maps, whats the best practice for this value, leave at default, change to 180 or another value depending on the object? Edit: Nevermind, found out that 180 seems the way to go.
I should be getting a Sigma 24/1.8 EX today, selling the 24/2.8 and 35/1.8 and consolidating down to one lens, I'm pretty excited! Got it for $285 or about the cost of the Canon 24/2.8 =P Oh, also feel free to send me your 85mm if you're so bored with it.
I don't think he has the voice to make it in opera. It sounds like he didn't get the early training for it and after 35 your voice is done changing. Doesn't mean he has a *bad voice, just not one that could give a 2-3 hour performance and be comparable to professional opera singers.
little hairtest with fibremesh - took about 35 mins, no polygroups, 1 big scalp using move tool and groomer hair toss obviously I could go a lot further, but I finally found a way to do this relatively painless - mask out bits of the hair then move it out with the move tool to get more clumping
Change your FOV perhaps? Your current one is really low, normally people have it set to anywhere between 35 and 45 (views > viewport per-view settings > Per-view preferences > Perspective Field of View). Worst case scenario, export your meshs (without turbosmooth) as an OBJ and re-import them.
Since when did they start charging 35 quid for pc games? Looking at the rest of the game chart they are £5-10 cheaper, the whole Modern Warfare 2 pricing coming back eh ... gouging ******'s I got a friend code, going to play it before I even think of shelling out that much for a game.
That flythrough is very fast and is moving on multiple axis. This is really not good for showing off an environment that you actually want your audience to see. Keep the cinematography basic. Dolly on one axis at a time, go slow and steady, use dof to your advantage, and change your camera fov to a more lens-like value…
