trying to do speed sculpts in the mornings as warm up here at work. about 20 minutes. I can see quite a few spots to clean up, but meh-- it's just a quick sculptris doodle.
started lately doing 1 hour speed sculpts . starting from a sphere using dynamesh ( since im not comfy using this method ) got the timer and everything there should be more of that coming . hopefully :poly122:
thanks man, I usually start with the mudbox basemesh, even though i'm using zbrush haha. But those last two sculpts are from a basemesh I made new a couple days ago
Quick sculpt of a demon bust from Saturday evening. Wanted to make him feel more approachable than scary, if only like he'd earn your trust and then trick you into something horrible.
Renaud, gwad very cool sculpts Neox - great rendition of napoleon too bad he is missing the teeth it would have made it just that much more awesome did this whilst watching "the hangover"
My first sculpt post. So much great stuff here! This one took a couple of hrs, took 3ds Max to the test and imported this from Mudbox, the max file is a whopping 1.2 GB.
@mLink - Yeah, every time I've done it on a render it looks overdone or non-existant, seems very difficult to get right. Speed sculpt of some 'stonewashed moleskin pants' this time... with no chromatic aberration ;)
First attempt at 3d head sculpting (I've done some rocks and shapes but that's it). I guess I've spent about 2-3hrs on this fish/man hybrid; started from the default head in mudbox.
About 40 minutes, my second sculpt. I always end up making these, I don't know why. Someone said this looks almost like an ultralisk from star craft II
ay neox thats wicked :) Great that you force yourself away from that goddam symmetry. If only that wasnt invented the great sculpts would be even greater i guess. Great result :D
