Natural sun is definitely one of the better "make awesome" buttons around haha. Really cool design, i like the blend of old and new, but i'd feel bad for anyone walking out of the door at the wrong time ;) . -

1 material, is a much better option, since you could either vertex paint in the snow and puddels, or even drive it with a animated scalar parameter in matinee, to have snow gradually blend in during the run time of the map. -

Well now I'm finally starting to dig into max 8 and the new features they added to skin is straight out of skinordie. It's about time. Workflow is a lot more streamlined with the better selection tools and ability to quickly blend. -

yea, i shall relight this tomorrow. and try the dust in the air. only thing im not sure of is the AO on the ground. since right now its using some masks to blend between 3 different tiling textures. -

yeah, I used to have my pen button set to right click and I would switch between blend-modes on the fly, that's why I recently dug up my copy of Photoshop 5 and reinstalled it. -

Hmmm... I think the texture on him needs some more contrast. It seems really soft to me. Like where the shorts are textured, they sort of blend into the leg, don't contrast enough. Anyways, still looks good. -
