Would having a tone down specular map be better for the reflections on the most current assets or would turn down the power of the specular be best? I am guessing having a bit of both. Thank you biofrost
I speak on behalf of the Cryptic Collective in heartily recommending Champions Online! Just spending time fiddling around with the awesome character creation, choosing a travel power and exploring the city alone is worth the free download!
This is awesome. The only feature/option I would like is to force the sprite packer to use power of 2 texture sizes. (Even if there is some blank space.) [edit] Just found the right click dialog. :) [/edit]
I'd totally watch a speed run of legit play from start to finish. I was always fascinated when people would submit their fastest times to Nintendo Power back in the day. Are there any video links to it?
Good times were had! Thanks to everyone who showed up! :D Now I just need to power through this hangover, and pick up my card which I managed to leave in the bar...
Any non-wireframe shots? Cant see how awesome it turned out as a whole :) Looks REALLY clean so far though. UV Layout Headus is amazing though, its unwrapping power is ridiculous.
thanks, snake. some weird dreams lately) Started to watch zClassroom movies, as i need basics with Z's crazy interface. Maaaan, Sculptris is so much easier than zBrush, it's less powerful though.
Every year DW was about to create a wizard, a demon, a machine or whatever creature that could look powerful and cool. And this year, as promised, finally something new: Make a God! That can be a wizard, a demon, a machine, etc.
Currently the hits don't feel powerful, You chould try adding in an effect that flairs out from the players hand on successful strike. Otherwise good job! Love the art style you have going
supposedly it is scriptable and extensible via C++. And as part of Substance's wider eco-system it should be much more powerful. There was also talk about machine learning - which seems to target upcoming competitors like Artomatix.
