Hehe, the in-game shots look great, and I love the little critters... One question - is that the in-game model you show as 8000+ polys? Does that mean it's nearly 17000 triangles? Seems to me like that's fairly unnecessarily high, especially since a lot of the detail seems to be edge loops not adding any… -

172 bucks for 4200+ that equals/outperforms the 185 dollar Core2 Duo. For the Core2Duo upgrade price, include a new motherboard (apparently the only ones to support it at the moment suck) and the DDR2 ram, and you just spent a lot more money (assuming you have a socket 939 mobo) on a setup that most likely has an unstable… -

How do those phenom's compare to intel CPUs these days? I used to be a big AMD(orig 1ghz athlon, athon 1700, athlon 2500, athlon 64 3000+) fanboy because of the lower price, but have recently converted over to intel, i've also built/have used some much more stable systems based on intel CPUs, i'm not sure if that is luck… -

It depends on what you want to do... drop fat (cut) or add muscle (bulk). It's nearly impossible to do both at the same time. Zac, where are you getting the 200 years from? No mater what we would have to send a probe there first. There is where things get complicated, with your numbers we would have to wait 220 years to hear back from the probe. I don't listen to bands/record companies that are part of RIAA, anyone that supports (directly or indirectly) the RIAA charging $1,000-$17,000 per song is crazy.
