I'm using Weebly + Dropbox. The ad for Weebly is only on the bottom of the initial page which I think is pretty minimal. After that I have all the other pages link to Dropbox which has no ads. Weebly gives me a short human readable url, rather than the Dropbox gobbledygook url. Dropbox integration is easy just copy all the…
You can't just past the .as file into a flash file. If you are using the Flash IDE (what most people normally think of as Flash) you would have to link to the .as source file for your model, and have your 3D library of choice ready in the same folder. For the user to rotate the model, you just need to provide the right…
Ruz: Thank you for that very uplifting complement, Ruz. My career choices certainly took an interesting twist when my wife gave birth to a mega high poly work of art. But I haven't let go of the dream completely (as it might not be possible). I've still got a lot to learn, but maybe opportunities to freelance will come…

really, if money plays a role give blender a go. its really solid and capable. regarding your question, i think its totally possible to acquire older software, at least in the EU it should be possible - heck we even bought older licences at work if I remember correctly.

You should be able to open your "older" sculpts (the ones without the issues) and subdivide them up to the same level of detail overall, then bring in your "final" sculpt, and use Reproject All to capture the detail from the final one, onto the correct geometry from the older one.
Ok, here's a little paint over I did on an older model I shelved. Will probably be going back through some older stuff and updating it along with sketching 2d stuff. I'm in sore need of practice 2d wise so won't be posting any of that stuff any time soon :)
