Yeah, there are great things in that mockup! However customizable web interfaces usually mean quite a bit of slowdown ... Id rather have all that functionality spread around a few distinct pages - or maybe display preferences toggling some elements on and off once and for all.
I always admired functional designs. I really like what Slipgate presented. Bow mechanism, movable helmet/shoulders/knees... mountings for bow/knife/gun/grenades... even right glove modified to protect fingers while shooting arrows :) Nice!!
Hi guys, Hopefully this has now been solved as of 1.7. I will do my best to have a preview build ready before the weekend, so that you can try all the new functionality before the official release is made. Thank you! - Teddy
For me.... Nitrous on new machines with new nvidia card, dx on older machines with older nvidia cards and whatever actually manages to function on machines with ATI cards. The material editor causes lag during animation so worth closing that when you're not using it.
Haha wouldnt this be the most awesome GoW3 dlc !! Great job. One crit is that some of the mechanical design and detailing is a bit random and could have more functional purpose - but anyways, in a GoW setting it could fit fine. Give him a EarthwormJimesque pose! Groovy!
you probably toggled the 'Suv' (smooth UV's) button in the tool->geometry tab. that one caught me good. not sure i clicked it by accident at some point or if it toggles when using specific functions. one thing to keep an eye out for in any case.
Very cool. As far as functionality goes though, I'm assuming that is some sort of display or holographic screen there in front of the grips? Otherwise, it doesn't seem like you'd be able to see over the front of the gun. Impressive stuff, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
@AlexCatMasterSupreme Thanks for the feedback! Yea I agree. You see that mechincal arm thingy in the concept, I'm planning on doing that one as well. Feels like a great place to show off some functionality and parts that work together! What do you think?
Hey Ibbi! Our apologies for the trouble. Something you can try for now: Close Photoshop. Run it as an administrator, close it again. Try running the Suite afterward and see if NDO functions correctly then. If not, we can pass it on to the Quixel Live Support group.
very impressed, great amount of detail, and actually looks function-able. have you thought about possibly adding some grease/oil details around some of the joints? as the working parts look very clean and new compared to the scratched body panelling.
