Watching all the retouching they did to make her look sexy with large (fake looking) breasts, and then reading that she's only 14, adds another sick twist to this practise. Way to brainwash teen girls, and older men. I think she looked better before. She was real. Good compaign.
Awesome! is all i can say. Maybe don't have the cables tied together - thats how it appears right now i think. Add some colour to them cables, like you did in your first picture, - brings in a wider variety of colour and livens the scene up a bit.
I did some more work on the skeleton, tried to define some musculature on the arms and add some more bone definition to the ankles. Also added teeth planes to alpha map and little beedy eyes (the sockets will be black and the eyes will be glowing red). Lemme know what needs fixing, etc..
Thanks all for really helpful critics. I did make a little change to the upper stories. Here it is. I really need to know if the lighting is working for you guys or not. Here is the texture map(original is 1024 X 1024). I will probably add side walk and a bit more details on the ground.
So I went to the jefferson memorial got the scientific persuits quest. Accidently found vault 112 or what ever it was. Sat in the machine and WTF? Now dad is with me. Last main quest I did was GNR radio. I just skipped a whole shit ton of stuff right? Damn it.
@ironbearxl Thanks. Yeah I´ll add every sdk I released, just didn´t get to that yet. @sectaurs I wasn´t sure how to place ´em. I will put the textures of my models in the 3d section. But what about the skins I did for other models?
I ended up going back to Corona, I wasn't able to iterate as quickly as I wanted with Arnold and the new physical materials work great for my painter workflow. As I started to work on the textures I quickly realized I didn't have a good idea of how the final scene is going to look and I knew I was going to run into an area…
@F3NR1R I am constantly searching and applying, this is just a piece that was an art test that I failed, but I thought I did get some good work done, so I thought I'd keep working on it to make it to the best standard I can and then add it to my portfolio. Just keep going :)
I did a quick paint over on the drapery, jut to show an idea. Personally i do base shapes for the folds in maya, cause it gives you better control of those long straight lines. And then use zbrush to add texture, Less time consuming and more accurate. But your armor looks nice)
Maybe try some simple tests. Use a simple pattern for the diffuse, flat normals, and test the other maps one by one. Then you can get a better idea of what does what more easily, though there's sure to be interaction between them. Which map did you add the red stripes to?
