use the 'Use Background' shader. Turn off the spec and reflectivity settings. Shadow Mask will affect the opacity of the shadows. That way your ground plane will be transparent except where the shadows are cast.
Your GPU is a low end integrated chip with only 128MB of dedicated memory and is not supported by Substance Painter.(minimum specs) Unfortunately the only solution here would be to upgrade your GPU.
Does this happen when that material ONLY has a diffuse material applied to it? Similar effects can happen when you have your spec power set way too low.
Here's a little update. Only the diffuse map used for spec. I still have lot more work to be done. I'm working on the metal parts right now, and then will move on to the plastic.
So much better, I'd make the highlights on the gold pop a little more, unless you are going to do that with the spec. But I'd kinda like seeing this guy as 100% diffuse as well.
No, he's right. It's like that super weird diffuse/spec/normal phase we went through. I mean, 3 textures for one material? Come on. It'll never catch on. :poly142:
It's coming along nicely! The floor, have you done a bump and spec map for it yet? It seems pretty flat. The logo on the door looks a lot like the US Postal Service logo...
That model is really lovely man, would it be possible to see your spec/gloss map? I'd really love to see how you got that slimy look on the green head area
trees would be most awsome..... could pick a reference tree, game type(makes a big difference to how they should be constructed), specs and see all the different ways of making it samples
