Amazing to see the extent of progression everyone, very inspirational indeed. Digging around ATM for some content to contribute, will edit this post once I've found what I'm looking for. Cheers :)
I work way faster in Blender than I do in Maya, and that's probably true of anyone who's learned the keyboard shortcuts and got a few key extensions enabled. It's a good tool.
Sure! If you need assistance at all, let me know. SUITE is a huge extension to Photoshop, so don't be afraid to tweak the values I have in there to fit the work you're doing. :)
I have a suggestion, I think that valves official tools in the sourcefilmmaker sdkcontent folder has much better maya plugins. Im actually making an extension script for it right now.
Sweet! Ah, I'm not sure why the attachment function would've failed. Could be anything from a temporary glitch to a browser extension interfering with it. But anyways, you've got something that works now! :)
Unless the game engines supports Indirect/Shadowed Diffuse lighting, in which case, only parts of a mesh which are exposed to the shadows, show the AO map. Uncharted did this to great extent.
P is to change viewport to perspective view, and then Z to zoom extents. I'd like to know how are your shortcuts set, scripts etc. Been using 3ds clean, love it btw!
I've played around with some different thumbnails. The new splash arts are very dynamic and full of action, and I wanted to mimic that to some extent while still keeping her regal.
